Our Founder
When I was 12, my grandmother suffered from a brain aneurysm that resulted in half her body being paralyzed. Her wheelchair wouldn’t fit through any door which resulted in her being a prisoner in her own bedroom. People visited for a while, but after some time they stopped coming. Sadness and depression followed, and the need for support was never more acute.
This experience grew a dream to start an organization that could meet the physical and community needs of individuals in similar situations as my grandmother. This dream, and my faith, were the catalyst for establishing OneAccord Ministries.
Jesus said in the book of Matthew chapter 25, “Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.” When we help others in need, we not only serve them, but also serve the Lord Jesus.
